“What treatment, by whom, is most effective for this individual with that specific problem, under which set of circumstances”       1967, Gordon Paul

The Register seeks to promote the use of “best practice” evidence-based Hypno-psychotherapy and gain recognition for those Professional member therapists engaged in that practice.

By consulting the Member list, Clients, and other practitioners, will be able to identify those member therapists who provide a recognised foundation on which a Client can make an informed decision in choosing appropriate therapy be it CMT or EBH. The EBH therapists will not only provide appropriate best practice therapy but will, as a matter of course, identify for the Client, the empirical results on which the choice of therapy has been made.

All register members are required to agree to adhere to a standard of Clinical practice promoted by the Register. They will carefully combine their own clinical skills with the best available empirical evidence relevant to their Client, in a manner suited to their Client’s needs.
